2. Careful removal of doors, hinges, and hardware to prevent dust and debris.
3. HEPA vacuum and wet-wipe cleaning of exposed frames and surfaces.
4. Application of certified lead-encapsulating coating on jambs and adjacent trim as needed.
5. Disposal of lead-containing materials through licensed hazardous waste channels.
6. Final clearance testing to verify lead levels well below EPA thresholds.
